Zelensky, U.S. Working on a Deal That
Would Fund Ukraine With Taxpayer Dollars
for the Next Ten Years

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed that Ukraine and the U.S. government are “working on a bilateral security agreement” that would force Washington to provide Ukraine with military, economic, and political support for the next decade. In a statement issued on Sunday, Zelensky said that he and President Joe Biden are in talks to secure a deal that would give Ukraine U.S. taxpayer funds for the next ten years as its long-winded war with Russia continues. He claimed the money is needed to equip Ukraine with the “efficiency in assistance” it needs to tackle the recent war advances by Russian forces.

Zelinskyy had better make that $61B last a long, long time. Just as long as the few solid Republicans in DC can keep the Uniparty from making that happen before the election ... which I have concerns, of course. Maybe it would just be better to pass a law to give 10% of that largesse to the Biden Crime Family right now and call it even.

I think if Trump wins, he will find a way to stop that agreement in it's tracks. After all, Biden came up with all kinds of new ways to side step the Congress so he can get his way, so why wouldn't Trump figure out a way to get us out of handing Ukraine Billions every year! I believe a President should never be allowed to make a "bi-lateral Security agreement, with another country, that would be in place AFTER he leaves office! It's one thing for him to make an agreement while he is in office, but it should end when he leaves office!! And Biden IS going to be leaving that Office in January!!

Ukraine becoming the 51st state was my thought as well. As for federal aid, I did a search on how much federal aid do California and New York get. California gets 27 billion and New York gets 110 billion. Maybe Ukraine will be our unofficial 51st state after all.

If the House of Representatives does not appropriate the funds, the US Government (the administration in power) cannot unilaterally create and fill a ten year funding pipeline. Unless specifically authorized by Congress, money appropriated by Congress has an expiration date. Two-year funding is common in appropriations language. No president has the power to obligate multi-year funding unless previously authorized and appropriated by Congress. That is why it is as critical to hold the House and take back the Senate as it is to send Trump back to the WH. Need both to happen but Trump back in office, with a democrat Congress, would be a disaster of the highest order. He would likely be impeached and removed prior to giving his initial SOTU address of his new term. For those who are of the "Uniparty" bent, and see no advantage to a Republican majority in Congress, a real Uniparty would have removed Trump from office, effectively preventing him from ever running for office again. That didn't happen in either impeachment, despite the handful of miserable turncoats in the GOP. Ideally, with a friendly Congress, the more critical Trump executive orders could become public law with a Republican WH and Congress. Shoring up the conservative majority on the USSC and across federal benches nationwide, would be an added bonus, but the point remains that Trump cannot go it alone.

When this war started over two years ago, I like many others was horrified. It was tragic seeing the death and destruction of a country. People's homes and livelihoods destroyed. I, like many others donated clothes and linens to the people of Ukraine. But now, I feel like a complete idiot and frankly, I want to cut this never ending money pit loose. And it's not because of the Ukrainian people; it's because as others have said this is clearly a grift. A grift for Zelensky and his Paris shopping wife. It's a grift for all of the Ukranian officials buying their homes in Switzerland. And of course it's a grift and a never ending source of income for the Bidens and others in our government. Just as the installed Biden regime is giving Trump and all Americans the middle finger with the outrageous lawfare and election interference against Trump, Zelensky is doing the same thing. I mean, it's one thing for Americans to be given the middle finger from their own government. That's been going on for 1198 days of the Biden regime. But, it's really tedious and teeing me off, to be getting the finger from a little tin pot, out of shape, sloppily dressed dictator. Trump can't get back in office fast enough.

The Department of Homeland Security revealed that it sent over 200,000 migrants on a controversial parole program to 45 cities across the United States between January and August 2023. The policy, which was enacted in October 2022, allowed migrants who had not entered the country illegally to fly directly into America. Migrants were also required to have a sponsor in the US and pass various vetting tests. It was initially announced for Venezuelans, before adding Haitians, Nicaraguans and Cubans amid one of the worst migrant crises in American history under President Joe Biden and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

When he said the election was moving, it was worth noting. Now, though, the situation is a little more complicated. Ever since President Joe Biden's State of the Union address on March 7 -- the one in which he appeared to shout much of the time to prove his vigor -- Democrats have been hoping for

As RedState reported, things finally reached their breaking point at Columbia University on Tuesday night. After weeks of illegal trespassing by pro-Hamas fanatics that escalated to the storming, damaging, and occupying of Hamlitlon Hall, police finally got the green light to move in, and move in they did. According to the latest reports, the pro-Hamas "encampment" and Hamilton Hall have been cleared, with over 100 arrests being made. Videos are emerging of the raid and its aftermath, with dozens of "protesters" crying in horror as they face the consequences of their actions. A fair warning that you may enjoy this a bit too much.

A new poll out from Emerson/The Hill shows that Joe Biden trails President Trump in seven of the key swing states: Yet, in spite of those numbers (and other disapproving indicators), Biden found it wise to announce on a recent podcast that the Second Amendment was “never absolute” and all that talk about Thomas Jefferson’s “tree of liberty” reference is a “bunch of crap.” Brilliant Joe, absolutely brilliant—so brilliant in fact, I’d like to suggest that his staffers organize those comments into sound bites to accompany his campaign ads, and then run them in the very swing states in which he trails,

Columbia University is threatening to expel student protesters against Israel’s handling of the war in Gaza who took over a campus building on Tuesday. “Students occupying the building face expulsion,” said Columbia spokesperson Ben Chang, The Associated Press reported. “Protesters have chosen to escalate to an untenable situation — vandalizing property, breaking doors and windows, and blockading entrances — and we are following through with the consequences we outlined yesterday,” Chang added. Chang is referring to the school’s Monday promise to suspend people who did not clear the encampment and sign a document promising to obey the university’s policies around protesting.

Many decades ago my four year old daughter was invited to play at a neighbor's house with another little girl while visiting her grandparents in an upper middle class neighborhood. While there, she was attacked and knocked down by the neighbor's Doberman that went for her throat while she on the ground. Thankfully the bite occurred under her arm pit as she instinctively raised her arm to protect herself. The dog clamped down and shook her like a rag doll. Fortunately the owner's teenage son was there and got the dog off my daughter.

Intense clashes between anti-war protesters and police on college campuses is spreading alarm among Senate Democrats who worry that anger over President Biden’s handling of the war in Gaza could engulf their party’s presidential nominating convention in late August. Images of police arresting more than 100 protesters on Columbia University’s campus, including Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-Minn.) daughter, have Democratic lawmakers bracing for chaos in Chicago. It’s just one of several campuses around the country where there have been arrests. “I think if the situation doesn’t change dramatically in Gaza, yeah, I think it could be bad,” warned one Democratic senator

Pro-Hamas demonstrators at Columbia took over an academic building early Tuesday to continue their “protests” over the war in Gaza. University officials urged students and staff to keep away from campus as dozens of the anti-Israel activists occupied Hamilton Hall in defiance over the school beginning to suspend students who refused to leave an encampment set up on the quad last week. Images on social media show students breaking windows, barricading themselves in the building, and holding banners that say "intifada."

What President Trump said this morning about the Israeli hostages held by Hamas is brutally honest and true. It is always difficult to tell the hard thing to those who need to pretend not to know the truth. However, one of the great benefits of President Trump’s leadership both domestically and on the global stage is his willingness to say the honest thing consistently. The way this statement is truthfully worded is a pattern of linguistic assembly exclusive to President Donald Trump. Powerful, remarkable and brutally honest.

A New York judge ruled Tuesday morning former president Donald Trump repeatedly violated the expansive gag order imposed in his hush-money criminal trial. Judge Juan Merchan held Trump in contempt for nine violations of the gag order and imposed a $1,000 fine on Trump for each of the violations. Merchan warned Trump he will face jail time if he continues to violate the gag order. “Defendant is hereby warned that the Court will not tolerate continued willful violations of its lawful orders and that if necessary and appropriate under the circumstances, it will impose an incarceratory punishment,” Merchan said.
