National Transport Safety Bureau investigators are carrying out their work on board the stricken Dali container ship that's stuck in the Patapsco River, days after it hit the iconic Francis Scott Key Bridge.
On Wednesday, rescuers in Baltimore recovered two more bodies in the search for the construction workers who were killed when the vessel collided with the bridge in the early hours of Tuesday, destroying it.
Meanwhile, the Dali's 22 man crew are still on board the boat, with no date set for when they can disembark.

Let’s see now; this behemoth leaves the berth, steers a left and then inexplicably steers right heading straight into the “only tree in the desert”!
Right.
Now, let’s all get busy and reelect the chief inmate of the looney bin and spend non-existent tax-payer money for a rebuild employing uneducated illegal aliens.

Let's see, 72 hours and now they are telling us that Hazardous Materials are leaking into the river. Why did it take 72 hours for the NTSB to tell us. BTW, is this the same NTSB that authorized the chemical burn in East Palestine Ohio?

How much can the dems expect to receive in 'campaign' contributions from the unions when they start the multi-year repairs?

So many questions, but why would they not blow their horns as soon as the power came back on? They were able to use the radio, but nobody thought to blow the horns. Go head and call me a right-wing conspiracy theorist, but I am going to be very suspicious of whatever the government tells us about this. That black box might as well be a jack-in-the-box because the data is now in the hands of the DeepState.

Not to be unfeeling, but the legal statuses of those who died are never mentioned also can their families file suit if they are not legal citizens.

#5, what good would blowing the horns do? I imagine the bridge crew was busy with other tasks attempting to avert the collision.

One shipping expert said that the point where they lost power was about the point where they normally would switch from auxiliary power to the main engine. He also reported that there have been many problems with the quality of marine diesel fuel with refining companies using it so dump waste chemicals like various polymers that are environmentally hazardous and difficult to get rid of. So, blending them into marine diesel fuel gets them burned up, and offshore where no one sees it. He said sometimes there is so much abnormal chemical crap in the marine diesel fuel that the engines won't burn it properly and perhaps this could have caused the main diesel engine shutdown.
He pointed out that this type of engine shutdown would normally cause no serious problems in the open ocean, where drifting a bit would be little danger, but it happened at a most critical moment while transiting a tight section of the river near the bridge, leaving the pilots with zero control.
Also, they developed a solution for this 'bridge protection' issue years ago after a similar collision, IIRC, in Tampa. The fix was to create an island of large rocks around the bridge piling, so that the ship will run aground in shallow water before it can impact the bridge structure. But, no authority ordered that bridges without any significant impact protection be upgraded. The reports and fix from the previous major accident were just filed and ignored....other than for the individual bridge that was destroyed last time.
Unlike the airline industry where accident fixes are applied worldwide, the bridge safety system is dysfunctional and nothing was done.

It is true what AMLO said, that these were migrants, doing dangerous work at midnight as they do. That is true. And that they do not deserve to be called .... Well I will not repeat any of it. But justice calls for noticing the truth, which in this case was hard and dangerous work, willingly done, by people serving not only us but their families, which before the Throne of God was righteous life. ... If we can' t change the immigration laws due to political impasse, OK,and I am still with my fellow citizens and our democratic process... but let us tell the truth. these were righteous lives.

That woman from the NTSB was a genuine cure for insomnia. She spent a painful amount of time talking and about process and very little time to anything we were interested in. The coverup has begun
