There have been a lot of bad anarchist actions over the years, but one of the ongoing places continues to have issues from activists agitating against what they call "Cop City" in Atlanta. "Cop City" is a facility that is being built in the woods to help better train police. You would think that people would want better-trained officers. But what many of these characters truly want is no police. There has been all kinds of violence and arrests at the site over the past few years as activists occupied the area trying to stop the project from being built

The crane should still work even with protestors tied to it.
Start your engines!

Leave them up there. Most likely don't need the crane for several weeks. I can't imagine why a crane that high is needed.

They are heavily funded by the multi millionaire Cox Communications heir, Jim"Fergie" Cox Chambers, Jr. See this article among others: https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2024/03/theres-a-communist-multi-millionaire-fomenting-revolution-in-atlanta/

These people are idiots who may someday grow up. At the same time, what does "better trained" mean? More military tactics? Practice in more military vehicles? Practice kneeing people in the spine, piling on and kicking them in the head while screaming "Stop resisting!"?
They have enough training. They need more vetting.

With no cops these losers would be the first gunned down by an angry mob they pi**ed off.

Leave them there to rot. Just everybody leave and wait a couple of days. Just make sure nobody goes up to help them. These idiots do not belong in this country.

Just start using the crane. They'll beg for mercy soon enough. And if, not too damned bad.

Hey, they would make excellent targets for Police Cadets to practice on. And if they are going to be training any forensics people there too, they would get to practice on real bodies figuring out who was the best shot.

Kinda difficult to live on a crane.
Don't let them sleep.
Guard the crane controls.
No food or drink.

#3, if true that really disappoints and angers me because I have been a Cox customer for more than 20 years. I've thought the money I've paid was going to support an small, independent provider and pay for programming and services. Didn't realize it was being used for political purposes. Another provider has installed fiber optics in my neighborhood which I haven't been interested in but may need to reconsider.

They have to come down. Arrest them as they climb down.
I forgot : Only Conservatives get arrested.

They should have left them there. Tuesdayis supposed to being severe storms to the Atlanta area. Getting soaked to the skin and being surrounded by thunder and lightning should change their attitudes pretty darned quick, I should hope!!!

How far can water from a fireman's hose go? I say hose them and turn on flood lights 24/7 . There are just so many interesting solutions to this problem.

Will they stay up there if a thunderstorm approaches? The powers at be should not risk the lives of first responders to bring those protestors down.

Shoot them off the crane. It'd be a fitting end to their stupidity.

Protesting is fine - first Amendment. Trespassing and interfering with the equipment of a work crew, is not. Especially when first responders have to be diverted to "rescue" these twits.
Shoot em, or electrify the equipment. If they fall, it's their problem.
