"Cop City" is a facility that is being built in the woods to help better train police. You would think that people would want better-trained officers. But what many of these characters truly want is no police. There has been all kinds of violence and arrests at the site over the past few years as activists occupied the area trying to stop the project from being built

These people are idiots who may someday grow up. At the same time, what does "better trained" mean? More military tactics? Practice in more military vehicles? Practice kneeing people in the spine, piling on and kicking them in the head while screaming "Stop resisting!"? They have enough training. They need more vetting.

#3, if true that really disappoints and angers me because I have been a Cox customer for more than 20 years. I've thought the money I've paid was going to support an small, independent provider and pay for programming and services. Didn't realize it was being used for political purposes. Another provider has installed fiber optics in my neighborhood which I haven't been interested in but may need to reconsider.

Protesting is fine - first Amendment. Trespassing and interfering with the equipment of a work crew, is not. Especially when first responders have to be diverted to "rescue" these twits. Shoot em, or electrify the equipment. If they fall, it's their problem.

Hundreds of thousands of migrants have been authorized to fly into Miami, Florida — among dozens of other United States airports — as part of a parole pipeline that President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) created and implemented. The airports where migrants are flying into the U.S. were revealed in a report from Todd Bensman with the Center for Immigration Studies. As Bensman notes, Biden’s DHS launched the parole pipeline, known as Advance Travel Authorization, in October 2022. It has since permitted 386,000 migrants to book their flights to the U.S. to secure “humanitarian parole.”
