Former adviser to President George W. Bush Karl Rove warned Donald Trump that the former president’s attitude toward Nikki Haley’s supporters threatens his reelection bid this November. Rove claimed that with the electoral makeup of the 2024 election so close, Trump should not upset supporters of the former U.N. ambassador because their lack of support for him could benefit President Joe Biden instead. More than 76,000 voters chose Haley in Tuesday night’s Wisconsin primary, representing a significant percentage of voters still not sold on Trump. “Mr. Trump’s attitude to his rivals’ supporters has gone from dismissiveness—’they always bend the knee’—to indifference, saying he doesn’t need ‘too many’ Haley supporters to win

So says the man who blew through $105 million in 2012 and lost most of the races on which he spent money. He's also the genius who advised GWB that it was "unpresidential" to fight back against all the Dem lies and filth flung his way. Rove should know that most of Haley's "supporters" were Dems trying to make trouble for Trump. I have two uber leftists living down the street from me who had a Haley sign in their yard. Trust me, those two will NEVER vote for Trump.

Karl Rove wants the Republican party to sound more like the Democratic party. No thanks. The Republicans are supposed to provide a real ALTERNATIVE for all those people that disagree with Democratic policy. One of the biggest problems with the Republican party is they have failed to do this. Sit down, Karl. Seriously, many people disagree with Karl Rove's strategy.

Let's be a little charitable towards Ms. Haley. Many of her voters in NH and other states, after all the other candidates were gone except her and Pres Trump, were Democrats trying their hand at El Rushbo's "Operation Chaos" in 2008, where he encouraged Republicans after McPain had won enough delegates to support Hillary Clinton over Emperor Obama the First, may his name be praised and his word be law, yada, yada, yada. Those folks are probably going to vote for Biden or RFK Jr. A percentage of them are Republicans and will be Trump voters -- let's face it, most of the folks who supported other Republicans, like DeSantis, Vivek, etc. went to Trump. Trump was their second choice from the start. I know in 2016, the first time I voted for Trump was in the general election. Trump had rubbed me the wrong way since the 1980s, but once it was Hillary vs Trump, my mind was made up pretty quickly.

Forget Karl Rove, and all of his baggage. Trump will need every vote he can muster to overcome the on-rushing freight train of planned democrat cheating. If that means he needs to be a bit conciliatory towards some former Hailey supporters, then that is no huge cross to bear. A re-do of 2020 will send our country straight down the tubes. Reagan got some southern Blue Dog democrats (liberal "moderates," but not communists) to vote for him in 1980, which provided him with a sufficient margin for a mandate to effect major policy changes after the disastrous Carter administration. Yellow Dog democrats only vote for democrats.

One of the first places I discovered when I moved to California in the late 1980s was the 99 Cents Only Store. One of my apartments was in walking distance of one, and I could buy a week's groceries for $20. Those halcyon days are long gone, not just for me and others, but for the iconic 99 Cents Only Store. When the company had to raise their price point from $0.99 to $1.01 a few years back, you kind of got the sense they weren't going to outrun this. It was finally the weight of inflation and the COVID pandemic that did them in.

According to the White House, Biden on Thursday called for an "immediate ceasefire" and told Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu that "strikes on humanitarian workers" and "the overall humanitarian situation" are "unacceptable."
