Should Donald Trump be elected this fall, he should waste no time in reversing Joe Biden’s electric vehicle mandate. Biden not only overstepped his authority, he set the country directly on a course that will bring nothing but trouble. Acting like the authoritarian that the Democrats and media claim that Donald Trump is, Biden, with a pen and maybe a phone, has ordered through his Environmental Protection Agency to issue a rule that will require Americans to replace their internal-combustion engine automobiles with battery-powered cars. While this specific abuse of power is important, a broader issue is blocking the administrative state from taking such sweeping actions without Congressional action. This needs to come to the SCOTUS in a significant and broad case. The court needs to make the statement that the administrative state does NOT have the power to do these things and only Congress, with the President's consent, can take such actions, i.e. make law. The question is, WHO can make this challenge? It must be someone with standing, i.e. someone who is "damaged" by administrative actions. Typically, that might be a state. It's not clear WHAT the case might be or WHO might bring it to the courts but it NEEDS to happen soon. It could take years to wind through the system and would have a better chance of success with Trump as POTUS and his people in charge. The resulting shakeup in Washington would be enormous. THIS is why they are so against Trump. He is very willing to snatch power from the bureaucracy.

It isn't like the proof does not exist that EV's will not work. We have all seen the proof. The buses that will not run in the cold, the charging stations that don't exist, the fires in the cars, the prohibitive cost, the infrastructure that does not exist, and yet this fool orders the EPA to destroy the auto industry. Only a total moron would still be pushing this agenda. And Yes the two first things Trump should do after the Inauguration is to set the EPA straight, and close the border and order a round up of illegals for swift deportation.

I think that the EV requirement is merely a steppingstone on the way to "15-minute cities". "Caves of Steel" by Isaac Asimov gives us one possible outcome of where that idea will lead and it ain't pretty.

#5 Gets it. How about returning to the constitutional limits on the power of the executive branch. Let's drop the pretense that "regulations" aren't in fact laws and those high commands from the king circumventing the people's representatives and thus we the people, are not constitutional. Oh congress delegated that authority; show me where the constitution grants them the power to hand their job to the king. Does the Supreme Court also have the power to simply say whatever the King says is fine with them? We have got to stop becoming a different country potentially ever four years. The constitution, if we were to adhere to it, prevents that, as Obama admitted and complained about.

Trump's most important task will be castrating the federal bureaucracy. He must drastically reduce its size - too many employees eating up our tax dollars and ruling our lives as American mandarins because the Congress is too lazy to pass detailed laws themselves. The practice of Presidential 'phone and pen' rules needs also to be stopped permanently. Yes, building a wall and punishing Mexico and Canada for their complicity in the violation of illegal immigration will be important. But WE must also do our part. We must send EVERY Democrat back home at every level of government. We must stop letting teachers indoctrinate our children. No longer can we buy evil from Hollywood or Disney. At the start and end of the day we must remember God's missive, 'If My people will turn to me......'

First, close the border, TIGHT. Second, start mass deportations. Third, erase the EPA This gets rid of all their vehicle mandates. Clean air was achieved decades ago, and yet, like the runaway freight train it is, EPA continues on, generating fraudulent 'science' to 'prove' that they must endlessly, destructively tighten ALL regulations of all emissions. And they fraudulently call the beneficial trace gas, CO2, a dangerous pollutant. Probably the most "doable" approach is to revise the Clean Air Act to lock down emission standards at the 1995 or 2000 levels, permanently, and eliminate EPA's ability to regulate any tighter regulations without them passing as a free standing bill in Congress.

This Is Biden’s Reelection Pitch?!?! 7 replies

We recently received a Biden-Harris campaign fundraising email, and if this is the best pitch they can make, then Joe Biden deserves to lose, bigly. It’s full of lies. It’s completely disconnected from reality. Biden takes no responsibility for the nation’s current troubles, and offers absolutely no solutions. The email begins “I know this message is long.” Except it’s not – it’s less than 430 words, which isn’t much for an email that promises to remind readers “of all the things we have been able to accomplish because of our victory in 2020.” The next sentence is a flat-out lie.

Earlier this year, pollster Scott Rasmussen asked voters a simple question: “Would you rather have your candidate win by cheating or lose by playing fair?” The answers he got back were, as he put it in a Daily Signal podcast last week, “the most terrifying poll result I’ve ever seen.” Among all Americans, just 7% said they would want their candidate to win by cheating. As Rasmussen put it, he’d rather see that number lower, but that’s not bad. But more than a third of the elite 1% he surveyed would condone cheating. And among those who are “politically obsessed”

In 2019, while campaigning in New Hampshire, Joe Biden promised to “end fossil fuel.” Not only has he failed to keep his promise, oil consumption has reached a new all-time high. For this we should all be thankful. When a climate activist challenged him on that September day about his connections to the co-founder of a liquified natural gas company, Biden, as he has done throughout his career of “public service,” became Joe the Clown. Calling her “kiddo,” he told her to look into his eyes, then said “I guarantee you. We’re going to end fossil fuel.” The ever-fawning-for-Democrats media

Can the U.S. media ever reverse their reputation for dishonesty and bias and end their current tailspin? Given how the public currently views them, the answer is “not likely,” the latest I&I/TIPP Poll suggests. Each month I&I/TIPP Poll asks registered voters from around the country to gauge their trust in the major media that supply them with news, features and other information. Specifically, two questions were asked: “Generally speaking, how much trust do you have in the traditional or established news media (Example: Washington Post, New York Times, NPR, CBS News, etc.) to report the news accurately and fairly?”

Earlier this week we reported on our findings about net domestic migration trends in the U.S. based on voting patterns in the 2020 elections. (See: “The Great Divorce: 3.7 Million Have Fled Counties That Voted For Biden.”) But we realized there was a discrepancy in the numbers. For example, while more than 483,000 people have moved out of Los Angeles County since 2020, the county’s population only declined by 351,000. Over the past three years, more than 88,000 Americans left Harris County, Texas, yet its population actually increased by 104,000. And, while we found that, overall, 3.7 million people moved

But those elected officials who don’t believe it’s an issue are very much out of tune with U.S. opinion, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. Americans are very concerned and want something to be done about it. A Trump triumph in November would far surpass any previous political rehabilitation, including Nixon’s 1968 victory. Despite the effortless manner in which Trump dispatched his intraparty rivals, the road to a Trump Restoration remains perilous. In perfect Democratic Party form, the Biden administration has dropped another government burden on the private sector.
