Tyson Foods is facing boycott calls following a report that the company planned to hire migrants to work at its factories.
Conservatives reacted with outrage to a now-retracted Scripps News article claiming that the company was hiring some of the asylum seekers who arrived in New York City. However, a spokesperson for Tyson Foods told Newsweek the figures presented in that retracted article were inaccurate.
Tyson Foods responded to boycott calls in a statement.
"In recent days, there has been a lot of misinformation in the media about our company,

FTA...'Immigration remains a key political issue ahead of the November presidential election, as the United States has seen an uptick in asylum seekers crossing the U.S.-Mexico border.'
Wow! Talk about deceiving your readers. An 'uptick in asylum seekers'. First of all they're illegal aliens and that 'uptick' is around 9 million.

Tyson claims that there's been a lot of "misinformation" in the news concerning their company. "Misinformation" is their code word for 'sure, that's exactly what's going on but we really don't want everyone to know about it'. Sorta like the media stating they weren't going to report on Hunter's laptop because it was all "misinformation".

Lemme tellya what I'm onna do! Unless I catch my own chicken in the yard, I do not intend to buy a piece of chicken from you people. Ever again. Simply because there are other venders, maybe not as cheap asterisk as Tyson, but cleaner, better and healthier in the long run. Call me when you get your company straightened out and flying right. If that's a boycott, sobeit.

Thank you for the link to the list. I have fewer dollars than ever, thanks to "certain politicians" and this will help to make better choices with the few I have available.

There is a Tyson chicken plant in my town. I've heard (but have not confirmed) that illegals, undocumented, newcomers or whatever they are come from a nearby big city to work at the plant. Many of these workers are Muslims and must be permitted to have regular prayer breaks.
Funny. Didn't think there were that many Muslims in Mexico and other Central and South American countries.

Which is kind of ironic, because they have been hiring tens of thousands of illegal aliens for decades.
Just because they finally got rid of their last few white and citizen chicken pluckers recently, people are just now deciding to boycott them???
I've been boycotting Tyson* since they got Bill Clinton elected to be President.
*Not an easy thing to do, since they not only have many brand names, (Thanks #1 for posting that list), they also supply lots of store brands and institutional food service operations including military mess halls and field ration makers.

iow, awarding illegals , work situations by the 10's of thousands, which are ,effectively,
modern forms of indentured servitude.

I tried to send them an email telling them that I will no longer buy any of their. They make you jump through hoops to do it and I gave up. Makes me wonder if the difficulty is deliberate now but ignoring your customer base is foolish. Ask the folks at Budweiser.

Tyson is saying that they are strongly against illegal immigration. I say they lie. The headline is intentionally in error by the author -- there are no migrants, only illegal aliens.
