An appellate court ruled that President Trump can post a $175 million bond to cover Letitia James’ $464 million judgment. Trump has 10 days to post the bond. Marxist New York Attorney General Letitia James last Thursday took the initial step to seize Trump’s assets. She filed judgments in Westchester County where Trump’s private estate and golf course named Seven Springs is located. President Trump had until Monday to either pay the judgment or convince the appellate court to allow him to defer the payment pending appeal.

James doesn’t know how to collect a judgment. Registering in the county does nothing. The golf course is a partnership. He’s a partner in it. She’d need to get a charging order against the partnership and get a lien on his proceeds and his partnership ownership, which she probably could not transfer until sale or bankruptcy.

The Court did Leticia James a big favor. If she had tried to attach some of Trump's properties, she'd find she'd have lots of other parties with a superior claim than hers and have to deal with each of them. Yeah, maybe she could have found a smart real estate/business lawyer who could untangle things over time, but chances are she'd find some Democrat-friendly slip-and-fall ambulance chaser (such as Atlanta's Wade) that would bumble the job and open the state up to all sorts of legitimate false claim and business fraud actions from THEIR attempts to collect this unreasonable judgement. Shaddup and move on.

Commie Letitia and her gal pal Engoron just let a strike go right down the middle with the bat on their shoulder. $175 mill is still a lot of money for what they are trying to do, that is, bankrupt 45 so he can't become 47. When 45's appeal works finally works its way through the court system, Letitia and Engoron will be sent down to the minors.

Seems like the courts use a dart board to determine bonds. Actually, he shouldn't have to post a bond at all.

Still an abuse of power. Don't pay. Don't agree to anything. Bond is because the defendant is a flight risk. Trump isn't going anywhere. He is running for PRESIDENT for crying out loud. Is the bond because of a crime? Then it's not a bond. It's a fine. What has Trump been convicted of? NOTHING! The more Trump fights back, the more attention becomes focused on our corrupt government. At all levels.

Didn't PDT become $3 billion richer? Not that it matters that's he's richer or that the amount was lowered; they plan to strip him bare. They just can't seem to do it. He still shouldn't pay this amount; it's as wrong as the larger amount. This is a kicking the can down the road move, but it's still a travesty.

Yes, Pres Trump's stake in Truth Social is estimated to be worth $3 trillion. But that's not cash-in-his-pocket-today money and could fluctuate based on the market (as IPO offerings have been known to do). Also, there is usually some restrictions on when the initial owners of the now-public IPO corporation can sell their shares. All said, it could be months or even a year before Trump sees a dime. And the tax man will collect his more-than-fair-share. In years of selling, I quickly learned not to spend the comission check until it cleared.

This is so obviously persecution. Based on this along with other items in the news, someone or something is pumping out staggering amounts of money to insure that Mr. Trumps doesn't get elected ! That's all this is about or is it also a trial balloon ? If seizing Mr. Trumps properties is successful, there are billions if not trillions of dollars locked up in thousands of other properties in New York that could be stolen just as easily from other property owners. Keven O'Leary and others have already stated this danger. Said properties could then be sold and VAST amounts of money would be paid to, wait for it, FEED THE GOVERNMENT !!! All you gotta do is create a fictional 'crime', find some 'judge' to back you up, seize the property, sell it and, surprise, instant pile of money for WHATEVER YOU WANT ! Scary huh !!?? I remember a picture of Mr. Trump sitting in a chair, pointing is finger at the camera and saying something like - They're really after YOU, I'm just in their way !

Like millions of Americans before me, I’ve done exactly what Donald Trump did; namely, sought a loan based upon my best estimate of what my property was worth—and I didn’t look to what the tax assessor said in reaching that value. However, as part of the Democrats’ lawfare, Letitia James twisted a perfectly ordinary act into something evil, and a partisan judge put his imprimatur on her efforts. If it’s allowed to stand, the results will be devastating, not just for the political class but also for normal Americans. In December 2020, I had to put my home on the market and move 1,000 miles away. Two months before,

"Littlejohn accessed tax returns associated with Public Official A (and related individuals and entities) on an IRS database after using broad search parameters designed to conceal the true purpose of his queries. He then uploaded the tax returns to a private website in order to avoid IRS protocols established to detect and prevent large downloads or uploads from IRS devices or systems.

Only zero-emission vehicles can be sold in participating states beginning from the 2035 model year, according to the Advanced Clean Cars II legislation. Americans will not be forced to take their gas-powered cars off the road, however, and will still be able to buy used and secondhand gas vehicles. These states have gone further
