Late-Night King Greg Gutfeld Signs Fresh Fox Deal, As His Ratings Blow Out Competition: Fox News is expected to announce that it recently closed a deal with Gutfeld to extend his contract, a move that spotlights the host’s importance to the network’s operations even if he isn’t in the mold of a Sean Hannity or Laura Ingraham. Under the pact, Gutfeld will continue his co-hosting duties at the roundtable show “The Five” as well as his 10 p.m. program, “Gutfeld!,” a looser take on the issues of the day that marks a bid by Fox News to woo the younger TV viewers who might watch late-night programs such as

Forty years ago it was Johnny Carson. Now it's Gutfeld. I've got no problem with that.

Congrats to Gutfelt, but he's not that funny. Watching his show every night would be tiresome. One or two nights a week, OK. Evening television is so bad that my choices are Gutfelt or not watching anything at all.

#4 - Tried it every night for a couple of weeks, and yes - his schtick can be tiresome. What's turned me off, though, are the increasing number of studio audiences who - as a group - respond to some really funny punchlines in his monologs with, "Whooooa" (as in "you shouldn't say that"). Lighten up and laugh, people. With the right mix of guests, though, it can be some of the funniest entertainment going.

Gutfeld mocks the left like no one else, it's necessary and effective. Breitbart would approve. Yeah, Greg can be tedious but worth the wait for the memorable and hilarious. The show would be so much better without the clod Tyrus who would be nothing without being propped up by writers. He absolutely ruins any flow to the show with his pompous pronouncements and cutting off other guests.

Fox News comes on our cable automatically, so his shows are on before we switch to stuff we tape from the night before on Newsmax. Lately, however, Greg's been doing some pretty decent " Pro-MAGA-Biden's a-Lying-Fool-Destroying-America" opening commentaries we've been catching for a few minutes fixing morning brew and bagels. I agree. Good for him! Mark, Jesse, and Maria are still hanging tight, as well. Good for them! MAGA-Vet.

Gutfeld's opening monologue is usually great. Some of the discussion topics are interesting and entertaining. But the rotating guests are a mixed bag. Some are quite insightful while others have a sense of humor that falls flat (for me).

The Biden campaign is celebrating following the announcement on Thursday that the No Labels group would not field a presidential candidate in 2024. “No Labels is ending our effort to put forth a Unity ticket in the 2024 presidential election,” Nancy Jacobson, No Labels’ founder and CEO, said in a statement. Jacobson, wife of former GOP strategist Mark Penn, said that the group would only have offered to field a ticket if there had been a credible path to victory. There never was, and No Labels is finished. “No such candidates emerged, so the responsible course of action is for us to stand down,” Jacobson said. She added that the group

A funny thing happened on our way to our all-electric future: reality. I've written at length in recent weeks about Presidentish Joe Biden's hamfisted and wrongheaded EPA rules meant to force everybody into electric vehicles, whether EVs suit their needs or not. But maybe nothing to compare to Oliver Price's headline on Wednesday, asking "Is this the end of the EV?" Well, no. But we're still far, far away from the end of dino-burning engines — and likely to stay that way for far longer than the grifters in the EV industry and the autocrats in Washington (and several states, too) would have you believe.

Joe Biden officially abandoned Israel on Thursday during a phone call with Benjamin Netanyahu, conditioning further American support on stopping civilian casualties while demanding an immediate ceasefire. If Israel were to oblige, it would represent a full-scale capitulation to Hamas, which would be able to regroup and retain its power while not even having to release the hostages. If that all sounds familiar, it just so happens to be what Jill Biden recently demanded of her husband behind the scenes. Yes, the president's wife is apparently running the country. Conventional wisdom tells us that religious faith is on a downward slope, particularly when it comes to Christianity. Of course, there aren’t many ways to separate nominal Christians from genuine believers when compiling statistics, but many measurements show that Christianity is on the decline in the West. The state of Christianity in Europe can be discouraging. The continent that was once the heart and soul of Christendom is increasingly godless. But is there encouragement on the horizon? One podcaster and writer thinks so. Justin Brierley, the author of “The Surprising Rebirth of Belief in God” and host of the “Unbelievable” podcast, writes in The Spectator

PJ Media, like all independent conservative/populist media outlets, is constantly demonetized by Google. (Emphasis on “independent; we’re not competing on an even playing field with certain unnamed “conservative” outlets that are boosted in the algorithms via sweetheart Silicon Valley deals and then pretend they are besieged by “cancel culture,” nor are we talking about legacy media behemoths like Fox News that are not throttled in the same manner.) A little definitional housekeeping: by “demonetized,” we mean that any article smeared by the fickle Google gods with this black mark of shame is no longer eligible to host Google ads, which means it cannot generate any ad revenue for the company.

Happy Thursday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) In the twenty-plus years that I've been writing about liberal bias in the mainstream media, I've never seen the hacks work as hard as they have for Joe Biden. Most of their past effort was spent on the character assassination of Republicans. All they had to when His High Holiness the Lightbringer Barack Obama was in office was scream "RACISM!" in response to any criticism of him. With President LOLEightyonemillion, they've had to create a man and a politician who never existed, then keep that fiction alive. They're still in the character assassination business too.

By now, we’re all aware that the White House managed to commit the most sacrilegious act imaginable — or at least made the biggest possible slap in the faces of Christians — by emphasizing “Transgender Day of Visibility” over Easter. While the holiday honoring our secular state religion of transgenderism is fixed on March 31, it could have and rightly should have taken a backseat to the moveable feast that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus. Instead, Joe Biden, his handlers, and the rest of his administration chose to double down on honoring a tiny minority of transgender Americans over the millions of Christians who celebrate Easter Sunday.
